ITA-TEKU
The Center for Development and Production Ita-Teku (Centro de Desarrollo y Producción Ita–Teku S.C. de R.L.) emerged from the proposal from the women's groups involved in the State Coordinator of Coffee Producers of Oaxaca for a training and production project involving various types of animals and vegetables, as a means to diversify and complement coffee production.

Currently, the insecticidal fungus Beauveria bassiana (which controls and eliminates the coffee bean borer) is being produced for use as a bioinsecticide.
